Home School Decathalon - Event 1
A new school year is approaching and what better way to start with a bang then hanging out with your mates by the lake, you might even make a new friend or two.
Canberra Aqua park, will still be open in the new year. Usual entry is $24 for 1 hour or $44 for for 2 hours. However if we get enough numbers, we will be able to get a discount.
Please note: Children under the age of 5, are not allowed to participate, children 5-10 need a paying adult with them on the inflateable.
To attend please book so we can get an acqurate idea of numbers (Do Not book at Canberra Aqua Park, this site will let me track numbers, there is no need to pay here). When we confirm the group booking, I can advise on the final price and where to send the money.
Please ensure you include a booking for yourself if you are bring children aged 5-10, or make arrangements with another parent in advance regarding your childs supervision. Specatator parents are free and can watch from the shore.
For a smooth start; please fill in the parks waiver form for all participants and bring it with you on the day.
Note: The Decathalon plan, is 10 different sporting activities in 1 year (one a month, February - November). I would like to arrange an achievement award, to each child for their participation in the decathalon at the end of the year (i.e 9-10 events gold; 7-8 events silver etc.). I am looking for parents willing to help organize, and perhaps run some of the events - so if you'd like to help out please contact me. Prices will vary, so please don't take this activity as an indicator of future event prices.
